Theodore S. Berenson has been a principal in the Company for over 40 years and continues to be active today. He has developed retail space in almost every state in the country as well as in Puerto Rico.
Stephen M. McParland joined our predecessor Company in 1980 as Chief Financial Officer and became President in 1987. Early in his career he practiced as a Certified Public Accountant. With 30 years of real estate experience in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, Mr. McParland led the Company’s development of Montehiedra Town Center and Las Catalinas Mall, two of Puerto Rico’s major shopping centers. He is a graduate of Boston College and a member of the Real Estate and Wall Street Council.
Alfred R. Yebba joined the Company as Vice President in 1994 and became its Chief Operating Officer in 1999. He has over 25 years of diverse real estate experience in a variety of roles including development, marketing, brokerage and tenant representation. He is primarily responsible for leasing and new business development for the Company. Mr. Yebba is an alumnus of Boston College and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Michael E. Murphy joined the Company in 1999 as Chief Financial Officer. He has over 20 years of diverse real estate experience with companies such as the Pyramid Companies, Boston Financial Group, and Charles River Park. In addition to his oversight responsibilities for the financial functions of the Company, he is involved in property acquisitions and other new business opportunities. Mr. Murphy is a graduate of Fordham University and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Eugene P. O’Brien has been with the company for over 15 years and serves as Vice President. He is responsible for the leasing and property management of our U.S. properties. Before joining the Company, he spent several years developing residential real estate in eastern Massachusetts. Mr. O’Brien is a graduate of Boston College and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
